Carole and Pat McIntosh
The McIntoshes have had many power boats and sailboats, accumulating many years of lake sailing, trailer sailing, chartering, coastal cruising, and blue water sailing, while raising four kids.
They’ve delt with the anxiety of your first time being in deep water, trailering your boat hundreds of miles to sail in an unknown area, being out of sight of land, or being on the line for your first race. The McIntoshes began boating in Folsom Lake near Sacramento in the late 1960’s, expanded to The Delta and The Bay, have chartered in the Pacific N.W., Belize, and Panama, and have spent several years cruising Mexico and beyond. Their cruising seminars and books have helped cruisers “cut the lines” since 2009, and have co-authored CRUISING NOTES -Things to know before you go and CRUISING NOTES – Underway to Mexico.
