What’s it Really Like Sailing the Coasts of California and Mexico-Session I

Date: Sunday, April 9, 2017

Time: 11:45am - 12:45pm

Location: Craneway Seminar Pavilion

Cost: Free

Speaker: Pat and Carole McIntosh & Phil and Nora McCaleb

Although separate, Session I and session II are presented as one single, comprehensive seminar.  This is session I.  Session II will be presented at 3:30 Sunday afternoon, April 9.  Because some topics cover multiple or overlapping areas, the information presented is compiled and structured to give you ample time to get all the information you need and to ask all the questions you want.  You will be ready, and be able to completely enjoy your cruise heading down the California and Mexican coasts after attending this seminar. Also at this seminar, all attendees will receive a copy of the presenters’ newest book, CRUISING NOTES – Underway to Mexico.  Session I will deal primarily with cruising down the California Coast, the outside of the Baja, and the Sea of Cortez.  Also covered, depending on time remaining and Q & A’s, is sailing to Mazatlan and the Puerto Vallarta / Banderas Bay areas, and putting your boat away for the hurricane season.  Session II will, if necessary, continue to cover putting your boat away for the hurricane season, but will primarily deal with the southern crossings to Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta / Banderas Bay areas, the “Gold Coast” of Mexico down to Zihuatanejo and, time permitting, further down the coast to Acapulco, Huatulco, and the Golfo De Tehuantepec.
