Pacific Sail & Power Boat Show

Pacific Sail & Power Boat Show is one of the West Coast's premier shows, featuring new sail and cruising power boats, gear, hardware, seminars, and interactive workshops.

Special Events

There will be something for everyone at the Pacific Boat Show!

Every Day:

Model Yacht Demonstrations and Racing

The Sacramento Model Yacht Club will host radio control model yacht sailing each day, and will allow visitors to try their hand sailing the boats.  They will conduct races at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM every day and encourage all visitors, especially the youngsters to try their hand at sailing the boats with a little supervision.  Boats will be on display at their booth in the Marina Exhibition Tent and on the water for the duration of the show and we encourage visitors to inquire about the club and participate in sailing. Bring your own model and be a part of the racing!

Authors’ Corner

Stop by the Authors’ Corner and pick up a great new read from your favorite sailing author.  Chat with the experts, receive some great advice for your next sailing trip, get a signed book, and hear a tale or two about any number of sailing topics and adventures.  Authors will be set up in both the Seminar Pavilion and the Marina Exhibition Tent.

Cruisers’ Party at 6:00 pm

More than a dozen years ago, Bob Bitchin and Jody of Cruising Outpost created the Cruisers’ Party at the then Strictly Sail Pacific.  Cruisers come from all over to enjoy this annual celebration of the cruising lifestyle.  Eric Stone will be live and in concert, while you enjoy a slice of pizza and a beer or glass of wine.

There will be great raffle prizes, including PureWater+ by Forespar, Kanberra Gel gift box, Mantus Anchors, and many more.  Proceeds go to The Educational Tall Ship Foundation Project S/V Matthew Turner, being built in Sausalito, CA.

The event is free and open to all show attendees and exhibitors.  It starts when the show closes at 6:00pm.  You must be in the show prior to closing to attend.

Be part of the biggest, most fun cruising party of the year!
